About Us
"You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives."
–Clay P. Bedford
Let's Get Acquainted!
My name is Ainsley Freedman, and I am a current junior at Emory University studying Computer Science and Mathematics (a student, just like you!). I created The CompPendium to share my passion for learning with a like-minded community.

I hope this blog will serve as a place for you to learn and grow as a student, as a programmer, and as a person––you are the future, after all!
When I'm not actively learning my next programming language, you can find me singing, crocheting, and watching "The 1% Club" on Fox, which I highly recommend checking out.
The Mission
The CompPendium is a place of learning, growing, and community. Anyone from anywhere with any and every skill level is welcome here. I hope this blog makes you feel welcome and unafraid to ask questions.
The world of computer science is constantly growing and changing, which means there is always more to discover, more to learn, and more to grow.
I hope you enjoy reading through our blog as much as I enjoy making it!
Why The CompPendium?
Unlike other blogs, The CompPendium is a place for everyone to learn and grow together! I am always looking for new ways to share knowledge with others and improve the quality of the content shared with all of you!
Please don't hesitate to reach out using the "Contact Us" section of our site with feedback on improving our site and content!
